Welcome to our events page. Here you can view past and upcoming events sponsored and attended by the Arnold Law Firm.

In addition, The Arnold Law Firm has started a program called Saving the Dogs One at a Time. This program helps abandoned and abused dogs get healthy, happy and hopefully find new homes. We began this program because we fell in love with a dog named Patrick. Patrick's story touched us so deeply that we decided to select a dog every month - our "Mutt of the Month." During that particular month, we raise as much money as we can to purchase a gift card or send a care package.

There are two upcoming events that benefit the Sacramento SPCA. Please click here to view the information on this two events, scheduled for April 5 and May 7!

The story below was writen by ALF employee DeeAnne Bagley. DeeAnne is head of the Mutts team in our firm. See DeeAnne's page to read more about DeeAnne's hard work.

Malachi This is Malachi.  Malachi is a 6 month old puppy who was dragged behind his owner’s vehicle.  He was found on the side of the road by a friendly passerby who immediately contacted the sheriff’s department.  Malachi was transported to Greystone Pet Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.  Upon arrival, Malachi’s wounds were cleaned, he was given pain medication and fluids, and his wounds were wrapped.  The hospital believes he has lost approximately 50% of the skin from his body.  To avoid infection, Malachi’s bandages must be changed frequently.  Due to the pain, Malachi is anesthetized during the process.  Malachi has undergone several surgeries to treat and close the deep wounds.

It is unknown if Malachi will survive; however, he is showing signs of improvement.  He loves treats and has been walking around the hospital.  He has even played with some toys.

As a side note, his owner denies that he drug Malachi behind his truck on purpose.  He claims he had forgotten that Malachi was chained to the bumper of his vehicle while visiting a friend’s house.  The owner was arrested and charged with animal abuse when he arrived at the hospital to visit Malachi.
